In core9000 two players have to defend their “cores” by rotating their shields. Projectiles continually fire from each core into the opposite direction. While protecting themselves the players also have to watch out for their own projectiles.
core9000 was created in two days during Ludum Dare 26. The theme of the game jam was Minimalism. The game is visually inspired by Stanley Kubrick’s 2001 – A Space Odyssey.
